From free sounding to muffled rhythmically articulate passages, with their adjustable tuning and damping knob Kolberg tambourines offer unique possibilities of play and sound differentiation - hand held or mounted in free suspension on the Kolberg combination stand system:
- suitable for tambourines Ø 25 - 35 cm, also of other makes
- tambourine with absolutely free suspension (cross-shaped holder hangs inside the tambourine on rubber loops)
- very differentiated possibilities of play, hand held or mounted on a combination stand:
- precise, rhythmic play when suspended tightly
- loose suspension is very well suited for long rolls
- stepless tuning and damping:In the centre of the inside cross, the tuning and damping knob is mounted variably. By moving the knob steplessly towards the head, the tambourine can be tuned and damped lighning-fast and the sound is varied.
- longer thumb rolls when hand held: Also without training the tambourine can be played on 360° of its circumference, when it is rotated by means of the inside cross-shaped holder.
- permanent thumb roll: By means of a fixed felt ring the tambourine, pivoted on the tilter 253T, can be rotated with one hand infinitely around its own axis. Thanks to the special head treatment, the other hand can produce the permanent thumb roll, in every length and dynamics desired and with the possibility of a seamless transition to rhythmic playing.
